Up for sale, a 2004 Fender Telecaster ‘52 vintage reissue model TL52-110BTX in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This uncommon and upscale “Crafted in Japan” model was produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, featuring a pair of USA-made Texas Special single coil pickups and a genuine USA-made Bigsby B5F vibrato.
Tonewoods comprise an ash body and a one-piece maple neck, and this TL52-110BTX weighs 9lbs 15oz, offering plenty of natural sustain, note attack and midrange detail. The USA-made Texas Special pickups feature black fiber bobbins, staggered alnico magnets and cloth-covered leads. Fat and throaty in the neck position, chiming and cutting in the middle, and offering a chewy, snappy sparkle and twang at the bridge, these pickups cover traditional Tele ground, slightly overwound for more midrange fullness and kick. This TL52-110BTX has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
