A rare limited run Tele made only for the Japanese domestic market, the TL-Rose model features a pair of USA-made Fender American Vintage black bobbin pickups and rosewood veneers on the front and back of the body sandwiching a basswood core. Paired with a maple neck and thick slab rosewood fretboard, the guitar has a clear, smooth acoustic quality that translates well through the USA-made pickups. The flat pole piece alnico magnet bridge pickup has an authoritative cut and sparkle, while the neck pickup is smooth and bell-like in its response. This Tele weighs 8lbs 1oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
