Up for sale, a 2004 Fender Jazz Bass ‘62 vintage reissue model JB62-75US in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This upper-tiered “Crafted in Japan” Jazz Bass was produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and is uncommon outside its country of origin, featuring factory-installed USA-made pickups, with vintage-spec touches including full-size tuner baseplates and spiral bridge saddles.
Tonewoods include an alder body and a maple neck capped by a slab rosewood fretboard, and at 9lbs 11oz, this bass delivers rich sustain and punch, qualities captured by the USA-made single coil pickups. These pickups offer sweet midrange burp and growl, with a clear treble grind and broad thump when the Tone knob is rolled back. This Jazz Bass has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
