Out Of Stock
Up for sale, a 2004 Fender Jaguar Baritone Custom in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A rare “Crafted in Japan” model only produced from 2004-06, this guitar features a 28 1/2“ scale length (tuned B to B), providing an effective hybrid between a Jaguar and a Bass VI. This instrument comes from the personal collection of Slipknot’s Jim Root, aka #4.

Tonewoods comprise an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard, and this guitar weighs 8lbs 8oz. The custom-wound Special Design single coil pickups do a great job capturing the natural richness and gutterul low-end inherent to a baritone, with a wide range of tonalities on tap. The neck pickup is bold, with good string-to-string balance and a woody bark, while the bridge pickup is more midrange-forward and growling. The Rhythm Circuit on the lower body horn further thickens up the sound, for a notably bassy feel, and the "strangle" switch on the Lead Circuit's hexagonal control plate yields a thinner, spankier cut. This Jaguar Baritone Custom has been professionally dialed in here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 13-62 roundwound strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
