Up for sale, a 2004 Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Dennis Galuszka ‘62 Jaguar in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original G&G hardshell case and reproduced (official) CoA. The highest tier of Fender's Custom Shop, the Masterbuilt models are made by a singular master craftsman, in contrast to other "team built" Custom Shop tiers. This Jaguar was handcrafted by Dennis Galuszka, who has made instruments for artists including Paul McCartney, Andy Summers, and Johnny Marr. This particular Jaguar boasts a gloss Fiesta Red nitro lacquer finish with matching headstock, accented by gold hardware throughout.

Weighing 8lbs 7oz, tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fingerboard. Plugged in, this Jag delivers the goods via the black bobbin single coil pickup pair. These pickups are a bit rounder and fuller in the midrange than later Fender Jag pickup winds, producing plenty of twang and snap in the top end, with the slightly aggressive chime and sinewy snarl that sets this model apart. Engage the Rhythm Circuit on the guitar's lower body horn for darker, meatier tones, or flip the "strangle" switch in the Lead Circuit for thinner tic-tac sounds. This Custom Shop Masterbuilt Dennis Galuszka ‘62 Jaguar has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, where we specialize in Fender Offset instruments, with 11-49 roundwound strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
