Up for sale, a 2003 Greco L-9 in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A parlor-sized archtop with a notably compact 13 1/2” lower bout width, this Greco L-9 features mahogany body construction, with an X-braced top paired with a mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard.
The guitar has plenty of projection, delivering a midrange-forward tone with smooth growl and sweet, bell-like trebles. The string-to-string balance is excellent, with a brassy bark and kick on the wound strings. Built at the venerable Fujigen Gakki factory in Japan, this L-9 weighs 4lbs 9oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 12-54 bronze roundwound strings and easy-playing action.
