Up for sale, a 2002 Jackson USA Dave Mustaine Signature Y2KV in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and hangtags. This extremely rare Mustaine Y2KV features a gloss Black Ghost Flame finish, outfitted with a pair of EMG 57/66 humbuckers.
This Y2KV features mahogany neck-through construction with mahogany body wings and a bound ebony fingerboard, offering great fundamental warmth and treble cut. The pair of EMG pickups include a 57 bridge humbucker and a 66 neck humbucker: the 66 boasts ceramic pole pieces, designed to yield articulate treble clarity and broad, smooth lows with plenty of warmth. The 57 bridge humbucker features a combination of Alnico V and steel pole pieces, PAF-like in its tonal response with superior headroom and punch, retaining exceptional articulation with any amount of distortion. Weighing 8lbs 15oz, this Y2KV Dave Mustaine Signature V has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss custom color Black Ghost Flame finish has a couple small finish chips at the body points and a bit of shallow buckle wear on the back. The “Ghost Flame” top presents well. The gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean, with just a couple shallow marks, and there’s a small finish chip at the tip of the peghead (back edge).
The original molded hardshell case is included, along with the serialized hangtags (dated 9/18/02).
