Up for sale, a 2002 Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and factory documentation. The AAA carved maple cap on this upper-tiered “Plus” iteration of the Standard is an absolute monster top, with tight three-dimensional tiger flame extending liberally across the bookmatched maple.
Weighing 9lbs 10oz, this Les Paul features the classic tonewood complement of a mahogany body, two-piece maple top, one-piece mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fingerboard. The pair of '57 Classic PAF humbuckers feature Alnico II construction, wax-potted for optimal feedback rejection, and these pickups translate the instrument's naturally clear voice into a powerful array of big, crisp voicings. The bridge pickup has the growl, midrange cut, and dynamic responsiveness one expects, while the neck pickup is girthy and thick while still retaining enough clarity and definition for complex chording. This Les Paul Standard Plus has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.

The neck profile retains its smooth gloss, with a worn-in, easy-playing feel.
