Up for sale, a 2002 Fender Jazz Bass ‘75 vintage reissue model JB75-90US in 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. An upscale, discontinued Jazz Bass model produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, this "Crafted in Japan" Jazz Bass features a bound maple fretboard with pearloid block inlay, and most importantly, USA Fender J-Bass Vintage pickups.
Weighing 9lbs 8oz with an ash body, the bass offers plenty of punch, midrange emphasis and strong note attack. The pickups are the same pair used on Fender’s American Standard Jazz Bass line; there's a growl and clarity to the bridge pickup, balanced by a rounder-sounding neck position single coil, with a broad array of tonalities achieved by blending the two. This JB75-90US has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and spot-on intonation.

The gloss Sunburst finish exhibits one moderately-sized chip on the arm contour (in the black of the burst) with finish touch-up. Further cosmetic wear is limited to a number of nicks along the lower bout perimeter, faint buckle rash on the back, and just a few light marks on the body as a whole. The neck profile retains its smooth gloss save for one shallow scratch on the walnut skunk stripe behind frets 9-10 that has no impact on playability.
A black tolex hardshell case is included.
