Up for sale, a 2002 Fender Jazz Bass ‘62 vintage reissue model JB62-75US in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This upper-tiered “Crafted in Japan” Jazz Bass was produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and is uncommon outside its country of origin, featuring factory-installed USA-made pickups and vintage-spec touches including full-size tuner baseplates and spiral bridge saddles.

Tonewoods include an alder body and a maple neck capped by a slab rosewood fretboard, and at 9lbs 9oz, this bass delivers plenty of natural sustain and sonic authority, faithfully captured by the USA-made single coil pickups. These pickups offer sweet midrange and articulate growl, with a clear treble response and plenty of broad thump when the Tone knob is rolled back to taste. Weighing 9lbs 12oz, this JB62-75US has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.

Neck Specs:

-Wood: Maple
-Shape: Medium U, full shoulders, measuring .830” 1st fret, .965” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Rosewood slab, 7 1/4” vintage-spec radius
-Frets: Slender, virtually no wear
-Scale Length: 34”
-Nut: 1 1/2”, bone

The gloss Olympic White finish exhibits some minor dings on the body as a whole (particularly along the lower bout edge) and limited buckle rash central to the back. The neck profile retains its smooth ambered gloss.

A gigbag is included.
