Up for sale, a 2002 Fender Jazz Bass ‘62 vintage reissue model JB62-75US in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This upper-tiered “Crafted in Japan” Jazz Bass was produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and is uncommon outside its country of origin, featuring factory-installed USA-made pickups and vintage-spec touches including full-size tuner baseplates and spiral bridge saddles.
Tonewoods include an alder body and a maple neck capped by a slab rosewood fretboard, and at 9lbs 10oz, this bass delivers plenty of natural sustain and sonic authority, faithfully captured by the USA-made single coil pickups. These pickups offer sweet midrange and articulate growl, with a clear treble response and plenty of broad thump. This JB62-75US has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
