Up for sale, a 2002 Fender Jag-Stang in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order finished in Fiesta Red. From the original "Crafted in Japan" run of the Jag-Stang, this Fender is a no-nonsense tool perfectly suited to creating both the distorted churn and raw single coil cut heard across Nirvana's catalog. The guitar weighs 8lbs 10oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
Famously known for being designed by Kurt Cobain when he took two polaroids of a Mustang and Jaguar and cut them together, the Jag Stang is in-step with the features of both of these classic short scale Fender models, while also satisfying the higher gain pickup needs of Nirvana's chief architect.
