Up for sale, a 2001 Larrivée D-09 Koa in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Crafted in Vancouver, British Columbia, this acoustic features Larrivée’s proprietary symmetrical X-bracing on the Sitka spruce top, heavily figured Hawaiian koa back and sides, and a K&K Sound Trinity Pro System comprised of a two-channel external preamp (included) and mic/undersaddle pickup.
Big and bold-sounding, this dreadnought body Larrivee has exceptional string-to-string balance with sweet overtones, a deep bass register with a strong fundamental punch and the distinctive midrange of koa. The trebles are brilliant and round, and the guitar is highly responsive to pick attack. The K&K Sound Trinity Pro System consists of a two-channel external preamp with independent Volume knobs for the mic and pickup, offering precise control over the distinct tonal qualities of these two elements.
