Up for sale, a 2001 Gretsch Duo Jet model G6128T-62 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A rare double cutaway iteration of the classic Jet design indicative of the 1962 model year, this Gretsch has the traditional tonewood combination of a maple top and chambered mahogany body.
Weighing just 7lbs 3oz and loaded with the original Filter'Tron humbucking pickups, this Jet has a broad sonic range, offering a punchy, sparkling bridge position sound that has plenty of muscle and breadth. The neck pickup is fat and smooth, with a distinctive thickness and bark that retains enough clarity for complex chording. This Duo Jet has been dialed in here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action and accurate intonation.
