Up for sale, a 2001 Gibson Flying V '67 vintage reissue in 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and Gibson/Yamano hangtags. Gibson's USA-made guitars distributed via Yamano are often considered among their best, featuring the highest quality woods hand-picked for Gibson's discerning Japanese audience.

A discontinued model with an Arctic White gloss nitro lacquer finish, this Flying V boasts solid mahogany construction with an uncommon ebony fretboard, loaded with a pair of Gibson's 496R and 500T humbuckers. The 496R produces incredible sustain and cutting power with its ceramic magnet, adding more highs with increased definition and no mud in high gain scenarios. The 500T is one of Gibson’s most powerful pickups, containing a three ceramic magnet structure, which enables a no-holds-barred rock and roll crunch that never loses its rich combination of enhanced lows and crystal clear highs. Weighing 7lbs 7oz, this Flying V has been dialed in here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, slinky action, and spot-on intonation.

The gloss Arctic White nitro lacquer finish has notably yellowed (most prominently on the back), and cosmetic wear includes scuffing on the tips of the V, buckle rash on the back, and various additional marks of use. There is some notable discoloration on the bass-side of the neck carve, along with a couple finish chips that don’t distract the palm while fretting.

The original brown tolex Gibson USA-branded hardshell case with form-fit plush interior is included, along with all the Gibson/Yamano hangtags and paperwork.
