Up for sale, a 2001 Fender American Vintage '62 Jaguar in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with all hangtags/case candy and the original Fender G&G hardshell case. Finished in Inca Silver, this custom color was only offered on this model in 2001, and this instrument benefits from two of the most popular upgrades on any Jaguar, a Mastery M1 bridge (original bridge hardware also included) and a pair of boutique Lollar pickups. Introduced in 1999, this early custom color American Vintage '62 Jaguar model is from an era of production when Jaguar shipping totals were extremely small.

This Jaguar has a traditional tonewood complement, with an alder body, maple neck, and thick slab rosewood fretboard, delivering a clear, authoritative natural acoustic tone. Plugged in, this Jag delivers the goods via the pair of upgraded Lollar pickups. These celebrated boutique single coils are faithful to circa 1962-63 Jaguar pickup design, with black fiber bobbins, flush-mounted alnico pole pieces, and cloth-covered leads.

A bit rounder and fuller-sounding than some current Fender Jaguar pickup winds, these single coils also have Lollar's signature detail and glassy treble. Offering plenty of sparkling cut and percussive snap, this Jaguar is quite versatile. Engage the Rhythm Circuit on the guitar's lower body horn for darker, meatier tones, or flip the "strangle" switch in the Lead Circuit for thinner tic-tac sounds. This Jaguar weighs 8lbs 14oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar where we specialize in Offset Fender instruments, strung with 11-49 roundwound strings and dialed in for low action and accurate intonation.

The nitro lacquer Inca Silver finish is a rare custom color option, and the clear coat shows zero yellowing, with the finish presenting as a pristine, unaged silver. Cosmetic wear is limited to a small amount of finish chipping at the edges of the neck pocket and just a couple additional tiny marks on the body as a whole. The neck profile retains its smooth ambered gloss, exhibiting no wear.

The original Fender G&G Deluxe brown tolex hardshell case is included, along with every single original hangtag and piece of case candy, as well as the stock bridge and mute assembly.
