Up for sale, a 2000s Mosrite Super Custom ‘63 Ventures Model “Sidejack” in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and hangtag. A premium KuroKumo-made Mosrite produced within Japan and rarely seen outside its country of origin, this top-tier model replicates the Ventures Model's earliest features with set neck construction, input jack located on the side of the body, and multi-ply binding framing the German Carve top. This particular example was produced after KuroKumo lost the rights to use the “Ventures” name on the headstock.

Tonewoods include a basswood body with prominent German Carve, a maple neck, and bound slab rosewood fingerboard, yielding a smooth, balanced acoustic tone. These tonewoods provide an ideal platform for the L-4000 single coil pickup pair which offers plenty of power, percussive cut, and sparkling treble. These pickups are somewhat more conservatively wound than vintage USA-made models, still delivering the authoritative treble zing and woody cut that is quintessential Mosrite. Weighing 8lbs 7oz, this Super Custom ‘63 Ventures Model has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
