Up for sale, a 2000s ESP Edwards Sugizo signature model E-CL-90 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Produced by ESP in Japan under the Edwards banner, this is the signature instrument of Sugizo, best known as the lead guitarist of Japanese rock band Luna Sea. A unique model, this Edwards combines the aesthetics of a Les Paul with the functionality of a “Superstrat,” featuring a trio of single coil pickups, Floyd Rose tremolo, soft V neck profile, streamlined controls and kill switch.
Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and 24-fret bound rosewood fretboard, and this E-CL-90 weighs 8lbs 8oz. The trio of single coil pickups are sparkling and clear, with more focused punch at the bridge, a bell-like fullness and chop at the neck, and hollow Strat-style quack at the “in-between” positions on the five-way selector switch. This E-CL-90 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.
