Up for sale, a 2000 Yamaha LS-10BL acoustic guitar in exceptional condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This sleek Japanese-made Yamaha was designed to thread the needle between jumbo and dreadnought body shapes, slightly larger than a Martin OM with a lower bout width of 15 1/2“.
Tonewoods include a double X-braced spruce top, mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard. This Yamaha has great projection, with a warm, airy low-end response that has just enough growl and a brassy kick when strummed hard with a flatpick. The string-to-string balance is excellent, with sweet, smooth trebles. The full 25 1/2" scale length provides ideal tension on the top, and in conjunction with the voicing of the body shape is extremely well-suited to fingerstyle playing. This Yamaha weighs 4lbs 3oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 12-53 bronze strings and comfortable action.
