Up for sale, a 2000 Larrivée OM-09 in excellent condition, complete with the original hardshell case. Finely crafted in Vancouver, British Columbia, this Orchestra Model features Larrivée’s proprietary parallel X-bracing on the Sitka spruce top, paired with Indian rosewood back and sides.

The tone is rich and clear, with the focused power inherent in rosewood and the articulation and note attack of the ebony fingerboard. The guitar offers a clear bass register with ample warmth and headroom, and the trebles are balanced and sparkling. The excellent projection one expects from the OM shape and scale length is present, providing an ideal platform for fingerpicking and detailed work with a flatpick. This OM-09 weighs 4lbs 11oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 12-53 bronze strings and easy-playing action.

The center seam has been repaired on top behind the bridge, and a couple cleanly repaired splits extend diagonally below the top binding on the rosewood rims (just north of the rear strap button). Cosmetic wear on the gloss finish is otherwise limited to just a scant few minor marks on the body as a whole. The gloss finish on the neck profile is nigh flawless.
