Up for sale, a 2000 Ibanez J. Custom RG1880 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This rare Ibanez was crafted at the Fujigen factory as part of the upscale J. Custom line, only produced for two years, boasting a AAA+ flame maple top with a gloss Black Blue Sunburst finish, HSH trio of DiMarzio pickups, and a Lo-Pro Edge tremolo.
Tonewoods include a mahogany body with a two-piece flame maple top, five-piece maple/walnut neck, and 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard, weighing 7lbs 7oz. The humbucker in the bridge position is a DiMarzio Tone Zone, a bold and powerful high-output pickup that offers great low end and lower-midrange response to ensure the tone stays full and fat. The neck humbucker is a DiMarzio Air Norton, a warm, open-sounding pickup designed with a unique magnetic structure to reduce string pull and increase sustain while maintaining dynamic feel and responsiveness to user inputs. The central single coil is a DiMarzio Blue Velvet, a pickup designed for optimal fullness and string-to-string balance, blending well with the coil-split humbuckers at the “in-between” positions on the five-way pickup selector switch. This RG1880 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.

-Frets: Jumbo, faint wear beneath the plain strings on frets 1-7
-Scale Length: 25 1/2”
-Nut: 1 11/16”, Top Lok III
-Tuners: Gotoh
-Serialization: F00-prefix (Fujigen, 2000)

The gloss Black Blue Sunburst finish highlights the uniform, wall-to-wall tiger flame figuring in the top, very dimensional in its presentation. Cosmetic wear includes some small finish chips along the lower bout perimeter, limited buckle worming central to the back, and just a few small dings on the body as a whole. The satin finish on the neck profile is flawless.
An Ibanez-branded gigbag is included.
