2000 Greco GV-90 Flying V Neck Through Guitar Natural Matte, Japan Fujigen

+ shipping

Up for sale, a 2000 Greco GV-90 Flying V in 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This rare Greco was produced at the Fujigen factory and is notable for being one of only a handful of production V models featuring neck-through construction (Gibson themselves have never released a neck-through Flying V).

A five-ply maple/walnut neck is sandwiched between ash body wings, and the neck-through construction delivers excellent natural sustain, punch and articulation. The GH-1 humbuckers are rich and powerful, wound in the mid-8k ohms range, with taut, aggressive lows, smooth trebles, and great clarity in the midrange, yielding harmonic complexity and overall warmth. This GV-90 weighs 6lbs 10oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The finish is described as Natural Matte in the Greco catalog and presents as a semi-gloss, highlighting the neck-through construction, with three tan lines on the back where stickers were previously affixed. Cosmetic wear includes light buckle rash central to the back and a handful of minor dings on the top and back. The finish on the neck profile is flawless, buffed to a smooth gloss.

The original form-fit gigbag is included.
