Up for sale, a 2000 Fender Precision Bass ‘57 vintage reissue model PB57-70US in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This upscale “Crafted in Japan” P Bass platform was produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and is uncommon outside of its country of origin, with vintage-accurate features including spiral (threaded) bridge saddles and a USA-made split-coil pickup.
Weighing 9lbs 1oz, tonewoods include an alder body and a one-piece maple neck. The USA-made split-coil pickup delivers the warmth, sweet treble articulation, and fundamental thump that define the Precision tone, particularly round and broad with the Tone knob rolled back. This Precision Bass PB57-70US has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and accurate intonation.
Neck Specs:
-Wood: Maple
-Shape: Medium C, measuring .835” 1st fret, .990” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Maple, vintage-spec 7 ¼” radius, dot inlay
-Frets: Slender, no wear
-Scale Length: 34”
-Nut: 1.650” (42mm), bone
-Tuners: Clover buttons
-Serialization: “Crafted in Japan,” O-prefix
Body Specs:
-Wood: Alder

The gloss two-tone Sunburst finish exhibits subtle vertical checking, with cosmetic wear limited to one minor finish chip at the edge of the neck pocket, a small ding on the bass-side of the back, and a few minor nicks and finish scratches. The ambered gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean.
A Fender-branded gigbag is included.
