Up for sale, a 2000 Fender Order Made Jazz Bass in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. The Order Made program functioned as a sort of Fender Japan custom shop, offering non-catalog features and finishes. This particular “Crafted in Japan” Jazz Bass is a unique spin on the JB62 platform, featuring a maple neck and fingerboard, knurled knobs, and a gloss Lake Placid Blue finish accented by a pearloid pickguard.
At 9lbs 8oz, this bass has great natural punch and sustain, providing an ideal platform for the pair of JB-Vintage single coil pickups. These pickups deliver treble grind, ample midrange presence and burp, and bold low end, particularly thick with the Tone knob rolled back to taste. This Jazz Bass has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-105 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
