Up for sale, a 2000 Epiphone by Gibson Les Paul Custom LPC-80 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Crafted in Japan at the Fujigen factory, this Epiphone was a result of the longstanding partnership between Gibson USA and their Japanese distributor, Yamano-Gakki. Designed only to be sold within the Japanese domestic market and featuring Gibson's "open book" headstock shape, this uncommon Epiphone iteration of the classic Les Paul Custom features a maple top, mahogany body, mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fretboard.
The pickups have a PAF-style flavor with sweet, singing highs, warm-yet-tight lows, and a sculpted midrange for optimal clarity, both metering on the lower end of the PAF spectrum at 7.2k ohms. Weighing 9lbs 9oz and dishing out plenty of natural resonance, this Les Paul Custom LPC-80 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
