Up for sale, a 1999 Ibanez Artstar AS200L left-handed in showroom clean, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Crafted at the Fujigen factory in Japan, this classic Ibanez model features Super 58 humbuckers, gold-plated hardware, and a gloss Antique Violin finish.
The tonewood complement comprises a flame maple body, mahogany/maple neck, and bound ebony fingerboard. The Super 58 humbuckers channel the warmth and articulation of the semi-hollow body; the bridge pickup has great midrange growl and authority, while the neck pickup is coupled to a three-way Tri-Sound switch for coil tap functionality. In humbucker mode, the neck pickup is fat and clear with a sweetness ideal for lead work, and via the Tri-Sound switch, two coil tap options have plenty of spank and sparkle. This AS200L weighs 8lbs 9oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
