Up for sale, a 1999 Fender Telecaster Custom ‘72 vintage reissue model TC72-70 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A rare example finished in custom color Lake Placid Blue, this “Crafted in Japan” model is a faithful and well-crafted reissue, embodying everything that makes the Telecaster Custom model so versatile and fun to play.
Tonewoods include an ash body and one-piece maple neck, and this guitar has a lively, clear acoustic response with strong note detail and kick in the midrange. This Telecaster has a broad tonal spectrum with a Wide Range humbucker in the neck position and a traditional Tele single coil at the bridge, offering both thick, meaty humbucker tones and chiming, twangy single coil snap. Engaging both pickups yields a “best of both worlds” tone with an ideal balance of warmth and articulation. Weighing 8lbs 2oz, this Telecaster Custom has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
