Up for sale, a 1999 Fender Precision Bass ‘70 vintage reissue model PB70-70US in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A "Crafted in Japan" model, this bass features a factory-installed Fender American Standard split coil P Bass pickup, along with select vintage-spec touches including a block logo on the headstock and three-ply black pickguard.

One welcome deviation from vintage spec is a thick slab rosewood fretboard (as opposed to a thinner veneer board seen on actual vintage examples). With an alder body as its sonic foundation, this bass delivers the goods with warm thump, excellent articulation, and sweet treble growl. Weighing 9lbs 2oz, this PB70-70US Precision Bass benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Olympic White finish exhibits yellowing of the clear coat, light buckle scuffing on the back, and a handful of minor dings. The ambered gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean, with a few shallow marks at frets 3-5 that are not distracting to the palm.

The original Fender-branded gigbag and serialized hangtag is included.
