Up for sale, a 1999 Fender Mini Guitar series JM-Champ Jazzmaster model JM-CH 135 in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hangtag and Fender-branded gigbag. Made in Japan exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, this seldom-seen mini Jazzmaster features an Ice Blue Metallic gloss finish.
Sporting a diminutive basswood body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard, the guitar actually has a full 24” scale length. Loaded with the stock humbucker, the JM-Champ can operate via the built-in speaker or standard 1/4“ output jack. The three-way mini toggle for the speaker selects between Off, On, and Distortion, offering a barking clean response in the On position, while the Distortion mode unleashes unruly overdrive. Featherweight at 6lbs 11oz, this JM-Champ has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action and accurate intonation.
