Up for sale, a 1999 Fender American Vintage ‘57 Stratocaster in 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. An honestly-played example that presents very much like a genuine ‘50s Strat, tonewoods include an alder body and a one-piece maple neck, yielding a balanced, clear acoustic response. The American Vintage 57/62 single coils feature staggered, beveled pole pieces, black fiber bobbins, and cloth-covered leads, producing a bouncy snap and sparkle at the bridge and a round, bell-like quality at the neck with fatness ideal for lead work. This American Vintage ‘57 Stratocaster weighs 7lbs 12oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
