1999 Epiphone Casino Hollowbody Guitar Natural, Near-Mint w/ 1 11/16" Nut & Case, Peerless

+ shipping

Up for sale, a 1999 Epiphone Casino in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case and factory documentation. Crafted at the Peerless factory in Korea, this uncommon and discontinued iteration of the Casino stacks up well against the Elitist line, featuring a gloss Natural finish.

Notable for its full 1 11/16" nut width (a feature surprisingly uncommon on many Casino reissues), this guitar's fully hollow all-maple body has an articulate and airy tone, capturing both the clear note attack of maple as a tonewood and the warmth of the hollow construction. The P-90 pickups are wound to vintage spec with plenty of midrange bark, delivering a glassy, percussive quality. Whether you seek dynamic cleans or thick overdrive, these pickups can produce either with ease. Featherweight at 6lbs, this Casino has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.

The gloss Natural finish highlights unique quilt figuring in the maple on the back, and cosmetic wear is limited to a couple faint scratches in the clear coat on the back and lower bout perimeter, with just a couple tiny marks on the top. The smooth gloss finish on the neck profile is immaculate, and there is limited cloudiness in the gloss on the headstock face.

The original black tolex hardshell case with gold silkcreen “E” epsilon on the lid is included.
