Up for sale, a 1999 Epiphone by Gibson Les Paul Standard in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Crafted in Japan at the Fujigen factory, this Epiphone was a result of the longstanding partnership between Gibson USA and their Japanese distributor, Yamano-Gakki.

Designed only to be sold within the Japanese domestic market and featuring Gibson's "open book" headstock shape, this uncommon Epiphone iteration of the classic Les Paul Standard platform delivers the goods with a carved two-piece maple top, solid mahogany body and neck with a long tenon joint, and a bound rosewood fretboard. The stock humbuckers are in the vein of a lower-wind PAF, metering at 6.9k ohms and delivering an ideal blend of clarity and warmth. This Les Paul Standard weighs 10lbs 4oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss finish splits the difference between a Light Burst and a diffused Cherry Sunburst, highlighting subtle flame figuring in the maple, with cosmetic wear limited to one small finish chip on the treble-side edge, pick scuffing across the guard, and a few minor dings and finish scratches. The gloss on the neck profile is flawless.

A gigbag is included.
