Up for sale, a 1998 Orville Les Paul Custom left-handed model LPC-90L in exceptional, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Made exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and rarely seen outside its country of origin, this Orville Black Beauty is an official Gibson-licensed guitar and a result of a partnership between Gibson USA and their Japanese distributor Yamano Gakki. Named after Gibson's founder, Orville Gibson, this discontinued model was crafted at the Fujigen factory during the final year of Orville production.

This LPC-90L weighs 9lbs 4oz, featuring the traditional tonewood combination of a non-weight relieved mahogany body, carved maple top, mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fretboard. The humbuckers are crafted in the low-wind PAF mold, delivering smooth trebles, spongey lows, and midrange growl. This LPC-90L has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.

The gloss Ebony finish is framed by multi-ply cream binding, and cosmetic wear is limited to light scuffing along the pick path, a couple tiny nicks along the lower bout perimeter, and just a scant few faint scratches in the clear coat on the body as a whole. The gloss on the neck profile is flawless save for one shallow ding on the treble side shoulder at fret 13 that is imperceptible to the palm while fretting.

A faux leather gigbag is included.
