Up for sale, a 1998 Gretsch White Falcon Jr. model 7594JR in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This rare iteration of the White Falcon platform was produced in sparingly limited quantities from 1998-2004, featuring a player-friendly scaled down 14” lower bout width perfect for those drawn to a White Falcon and its classic Gretsch hollowbody sound, yet with a more manageable form factor.
The maple body is trestle-braced, paired with a maple neck and bound ebony fingerboard, delivering a bold, sonically deep natural acoustic tone with the glassy snap and immediacy attributable to the tonewoods and bracing. The pair of Filter’Tron pickups have notable clarity, sparkle and muscle; the neck position Filter'Tron humbucker has a thick, silky tone, while the bridge position offers a cutting growl, midrange punch, and excellent note attack. This Gretsch weighs 7lbs 3oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.
