Up for sale, a 1998 Fender Stratocaster ‘62 vintage reissue model ST62-58US in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. This “Crafted in Japan” Strat is uncommon outside its country of origin, featuring Fender’s American Vintage 57/62 single coil pickups with black bobbins, staggered alnico magnets, and cloth-covered leads.
Designed to pay homage to the golden era Pre-CBS Strat, this Stratocaster has a balanced, clear natural acoustic quality with a basswood body, maple neck and thick slab rosewood fretboard. The bridge pickup provides sweet sparkle and cut, the neck pickup is bold and round-sounding with a throaty zing and harmonic richness, and the "in-between" positions on the five-way pickup selector switch have a snappy, thinned-out quack. This Strat weighs 7lbs 14oz, professionally setup here at Mike & MIke’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The three-tone Sunburst gloss finish shows some pick scuffing on the bass-side body horn, a small area of light buckle wear at the treble side waist, and a handful of nicks along the lower bout perimeter and on the back. The ambered gloss on the neck profile is flawless.
