Up for sale, a 1997 Yamaha BB-STD in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Meticulously crafted in Japan, this Broad Bass Standard model features an alder body, a Warmoth USA-made maple neck capped by a thick slab rosewood fretboard, pair of YBJ-A4I single coil pickups, and a gloss Wine Red finish accented by gold hardware.

Weighing 9lbs 9oz, the tonewoods yield a particularly resonant and deep response, translated faithfully through the Alnico V single coil pair, delivering smooth, warm punch with excellent articulation and upper-midrange presence and burp. This Broad Bass Standard benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
