Up for sale, a 1997 Gibson Firebird V in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Featuring neck-through construction with a solid mahogany body and neck, the instrument's warmth and natural sustain translates faithfully through a pair of Gibson's hot Firebird pickups. The tone is rich and full, with plenty of midrange content and an aggressive treble bite. This Firebird V weighs 8lbs 3oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The Vintage Sunburst nitro lacquer gloss finish exhibits buckle rash on the bass-side upper bout, some small dings clustered on the bass-side lower bout (also on the back), and some additional, sparser pinhead-sized marks extending to the top. There is one repaired split across the pickguard, and one cleanly filled extra strap button mounting hole on the bass-side upper bout on the back. The neck binding is deeply ambered, with some checking at the fret nibs, and the gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean.
The original brown tolex hardshell case with pink plush interior is included.
