Up for sale, a 1997 Fender Jaguar '62 vintage reissue model JG66-85, thoroughly upgraded with Fender American Vintage pickups, a full USA-made wiring harness, a premium tortoise pickguard, and a Mustang bridge for increased stability. A faithful reissue of the Jaguar's original specs from the model's 1962 introductory year, this guitar was manufactured in Japan exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and rarely seen outside its country of origin.

Tonally, this Jag does everything a good Fender should, with plenty of twang and snap in the top end, with the slightly aggressive chime and snarl that sets this model apart. The American Vintage pickups are detailed and sparkling, with more dynamic range and nuance than a Japanese Jag pickup. Engage the Rhythm Circuit for even darker, meatier tones, or click on the "strangle" switch in the Lead Circuit for thinner tic-tac sounds. This Jaguar JG66-85 weighs 9lbs, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar where we specialize in Fender Offset instruments with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The Olympic White gloss finish shows subtle aging of the clear coat, with one faint rectangular outline on the back of a previously removed sticker, as well as a few outlines of additional stickers on the lower bout on the top. There are a few scattered nicks and dings around the body edges and on the back, but no buckle rash or serious wear of any kind. The smooth ambered gloss on the neck profile is flawless save for a couple shallow marks behind frets 4 and 5.

A padded gigbag is included.
