Up for sale, a 1996 Fender Jazz Bass ‘75 vintage reissue model JB75-90 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This upper-tiered “Made in Japan” Jazz Bass is uncommon outside of its country of origin, featuring vintage-spec touches including a block inlays on the bound maple fingerboard and a block headstock logo.

Tonewoods include an ash body and a maple neck capped by a maple fretboard, and at 10lbs 6oz, this bass delivers plenty of natural sustain and sonic authority, with the midrange punch inherent in ash as a tonewood. The pair of single coil pickups offer sweet midrange and articulate growl, with a clear treble response and plenty of broad thump. This Jazz Bass JB75-90 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-105 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Natural finish highlights the tight, uniform grain in the ash body, and cosmetic wear is limited to a small area of shallow buckle worming on the back central to the waist, a few finish chips along the lower bout perimeter, and minor dings on the lower bout. The ambered gloss on the neck profile is clean and smooth.
