The tonewood complement comprises a basswood body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard, and this bass weighs 8lbs 4oz. Plugged in, the pair of JB-Vintage single coil pickups deliver a touch of aggressive growl, ample midrange presence and burp, and low end authority. This JB62-58/MH has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and spot-on intonation.

The Lake Placid Blue gloss finish is categorized by Fender Japan as "Old Lake Placid Blue" or OLB, presenting as a more vintage-correct, icy shade of this classic custom color. Cosmetic wear is limited to a small area of buckle worming on the back and a few minor dings on the body as a whole, largely on the back and lower bout perimeter. The neck profile retains its smooth ambered gloss.

A padded gigbag is included.
