Up for sale, a 1996 ESP Mirage in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with original factory paperwork. The Mirage is one of ESP’s most lauded and highly malleable Superstrat platforms, and this particular example features an ash body, maple neck with a reverse headstock and 22 fret slab rosewood board, genuine Floyd Rose tremolo and an SSH pickup complement. Pickups include an ESP LH-150 humbucker in the bridge position, dishing out plenty of output, heat and fluid cut, while the ESP SS-RI-120 stacked single coils at the middle and neck positions deliver hum-free performance that’s ideally suited for bold, spanky cut. This Mirage weighs 8lbs 4oz and benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation. Neck Specs: -Wood: Maple -Shape: Slender D, measuring .805” 1st fret, .865” 12th fret -Fretboard: Rosewood slab, 14” radius, 22-fret, dot inlays (“ESP” inlay at octave) -Frets: Medium jumbo, no wear -Scale Length: 25 1/2” -Nut: 1.650”, locking -Tuners: Gotoh -Serialization: Five-digit serial on neckplate -Factory Markings: “ESP” stamp on neckplate, maker’s marks on neck heel and pocket Body Specs: -Pickups: ESP SS-RI-120 stacked single coil x2, ESP LH-150 humbucker -Controls: Volume, Tone, five-way pickup selector -Hardware: Floyd Rose tremolo, dome-top knurled knobs The transparent red finish presents very well, with only a few minor dings and light finish scratches as well as one finish chip adjacent to the forward strap button.
