Up for sale, a 1996 Epiphone Casino-JL John Lennon edition in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A very rare model produced in Japan at the Terada factory, this is an early Epiphone reissue which preceded the "Elitist" line as well as all other John Lennon Casino reissues. Set apart from all other Casinos made in this era at Terada, the Casino-JL boasts a vintage-correct mahogany neck (instead of maple).

Featherweight at 6lbs 5oz, the fully hollow maple body has a smooth, bright tone, offering an ideal platform for the P-90 pickup pair. The pickups are wound to vintage spec with plenty of midrange bark and a glassy, percussive quality. Sensitive to picking dynamics, these P-90s deliver clear, round trebles and a distinct sound in each pickup position, overdriving with plenty of aggressive growl. This Casino-JL benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
