Up for sale, a 1996 Charvel by Jackson King V in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the molded hardshell case. Crafted at the Chushin Gakki factory in Japan, this exceedingly rare iteration of the King V platform features neck-through construction, EMG active pickups, and a string-through-body hardtail bridge.
Tonewoods include a maple neck with poplar body wings and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard, and this King V weighs 7lbs 6oz. The EMG 81 in the bridge position utilizes ceramic magnets and close aperture coils, designed for optimal note detail, enhanced high end cut, and fluid sustain, engineered so that lead work will slice through even the densest mix with an aggressive snarl. The EMG 85 at the neck features Alnico V magnets and close aperture coils, offering incredible high end cut and fluid sustain. This King V has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
