Up for sale, a 1995 Orville Flying V model FV-74 in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. Made exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and rarely seen outside its country of origin, this Orville is an official Gibson-licensed guitar and a result of a partnership between Gibson USA and their Japanese distributor Yamano Gakki. Named after Gibson's founder, Orville Gibson, this discontinued Orville model was crafted at the Terada factory.

This Orville faithfully captures the specs of a ‘67 Flying V, featuring all-mahogany construction with a rosewood fretboard. The humbuckers are crafted in the low-wind PAF mold, delivering the smooth trebles, airy lows, and tailored, clear midrange inherent to that design, with distinct sounds at each position on the three-way pickup selector switch. This Flying V has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
