Up for sale, a 1995 Gibson Les Paul Standard in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This Les Paul hails from an increasingly highly regarded era of Gibson production known colloquially as the "good wood era," featuring a pair of 490 humbuckers and a gloss Wine Red nitro lacquer finish.

This Les Paul weighs 9lbs 6oz, with traditional tonewoods including a carved two-piece maple top, mahogany body, and one-piece mahogany neck capped with a bound rosewood fretboard, dishing out plenty of natural sustain with a lively, powerful acoustic response. Categorized by Gibson as a "Modern PAF", the 490R and 490T humbuckers are wax-potted for optimal feedback rejection and have an accentuated upper midrange punch. The trebles have plenty of growl and cut, and lows are thick and sweet. This Les Paul Standard has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.

The gloss Wine Red nitro lacquer finish shows light buckle worming on the bass side of the back, some finish scratches in the clear coat on top, and a few minor dings on the body as a whole, primarily concentrated on the back and lower bout perimeter. The gloss on the neck profile is flawless save for limited rack rash behind fret 8 that is not distracting to the palm while fretting.

The original brown tolex Gibson USA hardshell case is included.
