Up for sale, a 1995 Gibson Les Paul Standard, complete with the original hardshell case. This Les Paul hails from an increasingly highly regarded era of Gibson production known colloquially as the "good wood era," featuring a pair of 490R/498T humbuckers and a vibrant Heritage Cherry Sunburst nitro lacquer finish.
This Les Paul weighs 9lbs 12oz, and traditional tonewoods include a carved two-piece maple top, mahogany body, and one-piece mahogany neck capped with a bound rosewood fretboard, dishing out plenty of natural sustain with a lively acoustic response. The 490R and 498T humbuckers have a wide tonal palette, with the Alnico II magnets in the neck pickup offering more chime and warmth, while the Alnico V bridge pickup has a cut and snarl that cuts through with classic Gibson roar. This Les Paul Standard has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Heritage Cherry Sunburst nitro lacquer finish is bright and vibrant, highlighting light figuring behind the bridge. Cosmetic wear includes some small dings and scuffs along the lower bout body edge and light buckle wear at the bass-side waist and to a lesser extent central to the back. There are a few small areas where the finish has been buffed through to the bare mahogany on the profile shoulders behind frets 7-11 (smooth to the touch), and just a couple additional small marks on the profile length.
The original brown tolex Gibson USA hardshell case is included.
