Up for sale, a 1995 Gibson Les Paul Standard in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This Les Paul hails from an increasingly highly regarded era of Gibson production known colloquially as the "good wood era," featuring a pair of 490R/498T humbuckers and a vibrant Heritage Cherry Sunburst nitro lacquer finish.
This Les Paul weighs 9lbs 4oz, and traditional tonewoods include a carved two-piece maple top, mahogany body, and one-piece mahogany neck capped with a bound rosewood fretboard, dishing out plenty of natural sustain with a lively acoustic response. The 490R and 498T humbuckers have a wide tonal palette, with the Alnico II magnets in the neck pickup offering more chime and warmth, while the Alnico V bridge pickup has a cut and snarl that cuts through with classic Gibson roar. This Les Paul Standard has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Heritage Cherry Sunburst nitro lacquer finish is bright and vibrant, highlighting subtle birdseye figuring in the maple. Cosmetic wear is limited to light buckle worming central to the back and just a few minor dings on the body as a whole. The neck profile retains its nitro gloss save for limited wear on the shoulders behind frets 8-10 (smooth to the touch) and a scant few shallow marks along the profile length that are virtually undetectable to the palm.
The original brown tolex Gibson USA hardshell case is included.
