Up for sale, a 1995 Gibson Les Paul Custom in near-mint condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This “Black Beauty” Les Paul Custom hails from an increasingly highly regarded era of Gibson production colloquially known as the "good wood” era.
Traditional tonewoods include a two-piece carved maple top, mahogany body, and one-piece mahogany neck capped with a bound ebony fretboard, and this Les Paul Custom weighs 10lbs 14oz, yielding plenty of natural sustain and glassy treble cut. The 490R and 498T humbuckers have a wide tonal palette, with the Alnico II magnets in the neck pickup offering more chime and warmth, while the Alnico V bridge pickup has a cut and snarl that delivers classic Gibson roar. This Les Paul Custom has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
