Up for sale, a 1995 Gibson J-45 Banner Logo dreadnought in near-mint condition, complete with the original hardshell case. The precursor to the Historic Collection (and the True Vintage line), this limited run Banner Logo J-45 model was only available from 1994-96 and endeavored to faithfully reissue an instrument with the look, feel and tonal properties of a Wartime J-45, featuring a soft V-shaped neck profile carve.
This is a particularly vibrant and clear-sounding J-45, and as Gibson's most popular dreadnought acoustic guitar since its introduction in 1942, the slope shoulder J-45 design delivers great warmth, excellent projection, and a dynamic response. Featuring an X-braced Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, this particular Gibson acoustic has a bold sound with a soft growl in the lower register, balanced by punchy, round trebles. Weighing 4lbs 5oz, this J-45 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 12-53 bronze strings and easy-playing action.

-Wood: Mahogany
-Shape: Soft V, measuring .830” 1st fret, .910” 9th fret

The gloss Vintage Sunburst nitro lacquer finish is 100% original, and exhibits broad checking on top; this is a crack-free, well-kept example, with just a few faint scratches and tiny dings on the top at the lower bout. The smooth nitro gloss on the neck profile is flawless.
