Up for sale, a 1995 Fender Telecaster ‘52 vintage reissue model TL52-70 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a molded Fender SKB hardshell case. This uncommon “Made in Japan” Telecaster was a short-lived model featuring a “Foto Flame” finish on the one-piece maple neck. The ambered “Foto Flame” wrap is essentially a pattern printed to appear like heavily figured flame maple, applied over the maple neck and fingerboard.
The body is constructed of ash, offering a clear, detailed sound with a nice midrange cut. The pair of TL-Vintage single coils dish out Tele chewy twang and percussive snap, with a sparkling punch at the bridge and smooth chop at the neck. This TL52-70 weighs 8lbs 6oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Blonde (catalog “Off White Blonde”) finish subtly reveals the of the ash body, and there are just a couple faint finish scratches on the body and a bit of light pick wear across the guard. The ambered gloss on the neck profile highlights the “Foto Flame” wrap, and there are a few splits in the Foto veneer that have been laid flat with the surrounding maple and buffed smooth, virtually undetectable to the palm.
A molded Fender SKB hardshell case is included.
